The way to a successful job interview is through applying for the Right Job. Use our Decision Tree to find out the Right Job.
- Check the job post date and deadline (it might be an old post, might not worth applying)
- Check if you have the permit for work or if they have visa sponsorship option
- Scan the job description to see if its a good fit your career plans (just for the overview)
- Check if you have the listed must have software skills (you should have at least 80%)
- Carefully read the description and responsibilities to see if its a good fit.
- Check if you have the expected job experience (you can still apply even if you don't meet this criteria. However, the experience difference shouldn't be that high)
- Check if you have any skill that is listed as nice to have in the post
- Check if anyone in your network works there or have worked before to quickly get their opinion
